Mensa member Mahnoor, 16, has an IQ of 161 – higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking’s 160 – and has completed four A-levels since September. As well as his 10 exams at school, he studied for 24 GCSEs in his time and achieved 33 nines and one eight, the equivalent of 33 A*s and one A/A*. Mahnoor makes it difficult to study by using an unusual sleep routine. He said: “I sleep for three hours after school because I’m so tired, I can’t be that productive. Then I wake up at 7pm and go to bed again at 2am. “The last hour of my day is spent playing the piano.” Mahnoor, from Slough, Berks, was born in Britain but he and his family moved to Pakistan in 2010 before returning to the UK in 2016.

A 16-year-old girl with an IQ higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking aims to break a record by passing 28 A-Levels in a year.
Mahnoor Cheema, from Slough, who has a staggering IQ of 161, has achieved four A-Levels since September in English language, marine science, environmental management and thinking skills.
He is also part of Mensa; Here you can only qualify for membership if you rank in the top 2% of the general population on an approved intelligence test.
His family, who first moved to the UK from Lahore, Pakistan, in 2006, includes his father, a leading lawyer, his mother, and his 14-year-old sister, who is a national maths champion and has an IQ of 161. His nine-year-old brother, Gibran, is already a fourth-grade pianist.
Mahnoor’s new target follows his huge success at last year’s GCSEs, when he achieved 33 nines and one eight; 24 of these were self-taught courses.
This success led to the teenager having a personal meeting with Pakistani prime minister Shahbaz Sharif, who congratulated him on his achievement and gifted him a laptop.
Mahnoor attributes his success in part to a unique sleep schedule, which he says maximizes study time.

‘I think I find school easier than most people, I just want to explore all my talents. I am also really interested in all my subjects. ‘I’ve always loved challenging myself.’
His mother Tayyaba credited his skills to ‘genetics, hard work and consistency’.
Her family said they knew Mahnoor was special after finishing the Harry Potter books at the age of six and learning the Oxford English Dictionary ‘by heart’ at 11.
Mahnoor hopes to study medicine at Oxford after passing the last 24 A-Level exams.
The previous record was held in 2008 by 18-year-old Ali Moeen Nawazish, who managed 24 A-Levels in a single year before heading to Cambridge to study Computer Science.
At that time, Navazish was studying regularly for ten hours a day, but for some exams he would start revising only three days in advance.
